Roxana and Ehsan met each other at Stone Mountain three years ago. Although they were with a group, Roxana and Ehsan hit it off while hiking up the mountain. When their group of friends got to the lake, Roxana found a little bird drowning in the water. She tried to help it by taking it out of the water - it was cold and the bird was wet and shivering. Roxana tried to warm it with her hands and while she did that, the other guys in their group started nagging her, telling her to leave the bird alone... except for Ehsan! Roxana was worried about the bird and felt she couldn't leave it. Suddenly, she turned her head and noticed that everybody has left and she was alone... but all of a sudden, off in the distance, she saw Ehsan. He was there, admiring her care for the bird.
It was from that day, she quickly realized Ehsan was the one. She knew that Ehsan was a guy who she could trust and rely on... someone who would support her and look after her, even when they disagreed. Roxana told me that Ehsan is her best friend and supporter in every aspect of her life. Since they both live far away from their immediate family members (their family is in Iran!), they are each other's support system. Their love is their home.
Roxana and Ehsan's friends and extended family members decided to throw them a reception to celebrate their marriage. Roxana wanted LOTS of photos to share back to their families in Iran since they unfortunately cannot travel to the US to celebrate their union!
