How SOCO & COMPANY is helping girls feel loved, valued, and accepted through Christ

Hannah Jett Moore is the Owner of SOCO & COMPANY, a faith-based clothing boutique in Byron, Georgia. Besides having some of the CUTEST clothes, SOCO & COMPANY's vision shines bright as they encourage their customers, their ambassadors, and women nation wide.

Hannah reached out to me recently about photographing an ambassador shoot during their pop up spring shop at St. Andrew Christian Church in Macon. Hannah and her team greeted me with open arms and encouraged me throughout the whole shoot. I loved every minute of working with them!

Here's some more information about SOCO & COMPANY from Hannah

Tell me about SOCO & COMPANY!

Here at SOCO & COMPANY, our mission is to tell all about His grace and His goodness. Matthew 5:16 says, “let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” We want to emphasize that appearances and fashions will fade, but the Lord, Our God, is forever. We care deeply about the person inside of our clothing, and we want to empower them to passionately share the love of Christ through their life’s purpose. Proverbs 11:27 tells us that anyone can find the dirt in someone, but you have the chance to see the gold. Today, tomorrow, and forever, we choose to glorify Jesus and to always see the gold in others. And we believe there is so much gold and goodness out there.

Now, we have the amazing opportunity to have Ambassadors represent our brand as we strive to grow in 2019. We are looking to do more pop-up shops and participate in more vendor markets this year, so be on the look out for those! I am humbled to get to be the owner and have the sweetest Sales Associate on the team, but she is more than that. Savannah Thorne is one of my best friends, a social media extraordinaire, and an inspiration. God's grace and Savannah Thorne are some of the biggest reasons why SOCO & COMPANY continues to grow.

May everything we do, always, always be #ForGodsGlory.

How did the dream of opening SOCO & COMPANY come to fruition?

We were created after our angel Nana gained her wings in 2016, and the Lord placed it on our heart to find a way to honor her. She had the gift of making everyone feel like they are the most special person on the planet. She always showed the Lord’s light through her love. She was also a business owner in Griffin, GA and that always inspired me. Although Nana is incredibly missed, Psalm 91:11 says, “For He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." We knew we wanted to help other girls feel the same way: loved, accepted, and valued. We use clothes and accessories as a vessel. All of our tags have this message on them. "yes, clothes are fun, but we weren't put on this earth to shine through outfits. we are here to let our lights shine for Christ. our prayer is that you always know how precious you are in His eyes and you always let someone else know that, too." That pretty much sums it up! We're just here to love on people and use clothes and accessories as the vessel.

If you could share one message to the world, what would it be?

Follow Jesus! He is the one your heart will always need. He is the savior who can save you and protect you. He constantly fights for you and His love surpasses any fear, anxiety, or struggle you could ever face. Trust me, I've been at rock bottom and felt Jesus reach out His hand for me. Jesus is love and when we love others, our lights for Him shine the brightest! Always keep shining!! <3
